Results From the 1990 Census Bureau:
- Three residents 3 years or older were enrolled in public elementary or high school
- Five residents were enrolled in a public college
- Nine residents 25 years or older had an educational attainment of less than 9th grade
- Twenty-two people in Centralia had gone to high school but received no diploma
- Twenty-four residents were high school graduates
- No one living in Centralia in 1990 over the age of 18 had received a college degree
