Writing a history of Susquehanna University, tentatively
titled, A Goodly Heritage: Mission and Market at Susquehanna
University, 1858-1985. A
second research area pursued in cooperation with students regarding the use of
space and structures
as an avenue to understand
community histories. Studied the modernization process in and the demography of
Snyder County,
Pennsylvania. Other research
has been completed about Roger Blough, CEO at United States Steel
Corporation,1955-1969,
and the origins of the
Business Roundtable, 1969-1974.
