Text Box: The Delaware, Lehigh and Wyoming Valley Heritage Corridor is located in eastern Pennsylvania. It stretches 150 miles from Wilkes-Barre in northeastern Pa to Bristol on the banks of the Delaware River in southeastern Pa. It encompasses Luzerne, Carbon, Lehigh, Northampton, and Bucks Counties.
The Delaware and Lehigh Rivers are integral to the area, as well as the various canals in the region. All of these waterways make up the transport route coal took to get from the mines in the north to the markets in the south.
