Obviously these are only a handful of the many interesting places that can be found in the Lackawanna Valley Heritage Area. Since this area is located in the vicinity of the picturesque Pocono Mountains, there are plenty of places for outdoor activities such as skiing, hiking, mountain biking, and fishing. The area is also home to numerous concerts, an AHL Hockey team, and a AAA Baseball team.
