Clicking a specific region of the river valley opens more information about the area and places and activities of interest in that area. For visitors with more streamlined interests, the webpage allows searching for areas to visit based on specific interests (i.e. camping or hiking). Impatient visitors can plan a trip to the Schuylkill River Area by answering three questions on the Visit Wizard. By inserting the area where you want to visit, your interests, and what you want to see or do, the Web site will tailor a list to your needs. Links Links provided allow access to more information about locations inside the Schuylkill River Heritage Area. The Schuylkill River Web site offers short descriptions of areas inside the heritage area. The links present the official Web site for a location, giving a more in-depth description of the area, its history and events. All areas found as a visitor site fall under the broader headings of American Revolution, Industrial Revolution, and Environmental Revolution.
