About |
|
The mission of the Hispanic Organization for Latino Awareness (HOLA) is to promote the appreciation and understanding of Hispanic individuals, particularly of those who reside in the United States, and their culture. To this end, the organization will sponsor and attend lectures, cultural events, and field trips. In order to promote the understanding and appreciation of Hispanic cultures, the organization dedicates itself to reaching out to nearby Hispanic communities through volunteer service projects. The organization encourages greater cultural awareness throughout the campus of Susquehanna University and greater Selinsgrove community by highlighting the importance and uniqueness of Hispanic culture.
*As of the 2007-2008 Academic year, HOLA meetings are held each Sunday at 7 p.m. in Mellon Lounge of the Degenstein Campus Center. |
