Tenure-Track Assistant or Associate Professor of Education

Susquehanna University invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant or Associate Professor of Education.  Rank is dependent upon teaching experience and scholarship in alignment with University requirements.  Duties and responsibilities include teaching introductory education courses, teaching special-education courses, and supervising student teachers.  The successful candidate will also advise education students, serve on university committees, and engage in scholarly and professional activities. 

Qualifications include an earned doctorate (ABD status considered) in curriculum and instruction or related field, and a minimum of 3 years working with special-needs students.  Preference will be given to candidates with experience in university teaching, English Language Learner education, and/or early-childhood education.  Interested applicants are required to submit a letter of interest, curriculum vitae, transcripts from doctoral work (unofficial transcripts are acceptable for review purposes), and three letters of recommendation from professional references who have current knowledge of the applicant’s abilities as a teacher.
