Tenure-Track Assistant or Associate Professor of Physics

Susquehanna University’s Department of Physics invites applications for a tenure-track position at the assistant or associate professor level. Appointment starts August 2008. We seek an energetic individual with a commitment to undergraduate teaching in a liberal arts environment, who will pursue an active research program involving undergraduates. Candidates must also demonstrate enthusiasm and proficiency for teaching undergraduate physics, including introductory courses, laboratories, and courses for non-science students in addition to courses primarily for majors.

A Ph.D. degree in physics or a closely related field is required for the position. Interested candidates should immediately submit a curriculum vitae, statements of research and teaching, transcripts, and arrange for three letters of recommendation to be sent directly to:
