The Blough-Weis Library owns three collections of electronic books, EBSCOhost (formerly NetLibrary), ebrary and Credo Reference. Additionally, we make available a fourth collection compiled by the University of Pittsburgh.
EBSCOhost Ebook Collections
Our EBSCOhost ebooks include two collections totaling more than 92,000 online ebooks. These include the Academic Collection of over 70,000 titles and the Lyrasis Shared Collection of 22,000 titles. These ebooks include electronic full-text copies of published print materials, such as reference books, scholarly monographs and trade books. Adobe Acrobat Reader must be installed on your computer to read NetLibrary ebooks.
The ebrary collection currently includes more than 70,000 titles from many of the world’s leading academic, STM, and professional publishers. It continues to grow with additional titles added every month. Use ebrary's QuickView reader tab to get started quickly and easily. Note that printing is limited to one chapter or 60 pages of an ebrary book.
Nearly 400 reference ebooks are available in Credo Reference.
