The Library, Multimedia Center and Tutorial Services employs many
students for jobs such as:
Working at the circulation and multimedia center service desks,
Shelving books, periodicals,
etc.
Ordering books, etc. for the
collection and processing them for use,
Processing interlibrary loan
requests,
Troubleshooting PCs, installing
software, and working on web pages,
Tutoring students in mathematics,
foreign languages, and assisting with writing assignments
Assisting in providing reference
service
Students with work-study allocations fill the majority of positions.
However, some positions that require special skills, such as computer
technician, web technician, and tutoring, are also available to other students.
