FINDING E-RES DOCUMENTS
Once you are logged into the E-Res system, the directions are fairly intuitive. Follow the on-screen commands. The procedure is as follows:
- Search for your course by department or by instructor,
Or use the E-Res Quick Search to search for a specific course, instructor, department, material title, or material author/composer. After making a selection click Go.
- Make course selection from results list and click Go.
- Read the Copyright Notice then click Accept.
- Select the desired reserve material.
- E-Res will open the program needed to read the material (i.e. Adobe Acrobat Reader, MS Word or MS Power Point).
- Close the document.
- Use the BACK button on your browser to navigate the system when no other options are available.
For quick system navigation, use the menu options in the right frame of the screen. These shortcut options will allow you to do the following:
- Use the Quick Search/Course Index to re-do a search
- Return to the E-Res opening screen
- Contact the local E-Res Manager, via e-mail, if you are having difficulty with the system.
