W. Habegger, Tressler Professor of
Accounting, Chair of the Department of Accounting & Information Systems, and
Chair of the Department of Management Ph.D., Virginia Tech.
Dr. Habegger is a C.P.A. with experience in both public accounting and
industry. His teaching and research interests focus on financial accounting,
auditing, and accounting information systems. He teaches courses in auditing,
financial accounting, database management, and management support systems.
William
Sauer, Professor of Management
Ph.D., University of Minnesota
His research interests focus on small and family businesses and the impact of
the elderly on the marketplace. He teaches courses in management and marketing.
David
T. Bussard, Associate Professor of
Management
Ph.D., University of Pennsylvania Wharton School of Business
Dr. Bussard's research focuses on risk taking, corporate performance, and
management cognition. He teaches business policy and strategy, management,
organizational behavior, and international business. Dr. Bussard will be directing
the fall 2007 Semester-In-London Program.

A. Dion, Associate Professor of
Management
Ph.D., University of Toronto
Dr. Dion teaches marketing and marketing research, and frequently publishes
research on industrial marketing, purchasing and marketing logistics.
Sirapat
Polwitoon, Associate Professor of
Finance
Ph.D., University of Rhode Island
Dr. Polwitoon’s research areas are corporate governance and portfolio
performance evaluation. He teaches corporate finance, advanced corporate
finance, financial statements analysis, derivative security, and investment.
Christine
L. Cooper, Associate Professor of
Human Resource Management
Ph.D., The Ohio State University
Dr. Cooper teaches courses in organizational behavior and human resource
management. She has been comprehensively trained in business ethics by Arthur
Andersen, S.C. and she actively consults with firms regarding business ethics
and other HRM issues. Her current research focuses on organizational justice
and organizational commitment.
Byron Hollowell,
Assistant Professor of Finance
PhD. Florida State University
Dr. Hollowell's research interests include mergers and aquisitions,
agency theory, initial public offerings, spin-offs and executive
compensation. He has finance and accounting industry
experience as an investment banker on Wall Street, asset manager and
trust accountant.
Leann J.
Mischel, Assistant
Professor of Management
Ph.D., University of Illinois
Dr. Mischel’s research interests include groups and teams in an
organizational setting, individual and group processes that lead to
enhanced performance; entrepreneurial companies-characteristics of
the founding team and practices that are related to success, growth,
and failure, human resource activities, and organizational
attributes. She has significant experience as a senior executive in
banking, operations and customer service.
Steve
Wilkerson,
Instructor in Management
M.A., Marshall University
He served as the Education Consultant for the West Virginia House of
Delegates for ten years. He teaches business statistics courses and
is the Sam M. Walton Free Enterprise Fellow for the SU SIFE Team.
Amresh Kumar, Assistant Professor of Marketing
Ph.D. at the University at Buffalo
He is a specialist in consumer behavior whose current research
focuses on the impact of pricing strategies on consumer buying
decisions.
