It may be cold outside but men's rugby is ready for our new season. We are pleased to announce that after filling out a form with USA Rugby and the National Guard we have been sponsered with a brand new kit. This includes new jerseys, shorts, socks, field markers, tackling dummies, goal post pads, balls, and other field equipment. Hopefully we'll get all our i's dotted and t's crossed and have this new equipment for our home opener against Ryan Carroll Community College. Also any interested alumni, we have set the date for our alumni game and it will be that following weekend the 29th of March. If you're interested contact our match secretary Brandon Holderbaum. Another season comes to an end. Susquehanna finishes strong with a great win against rivals Bucknell University. We have one match left away at Lock Haven University on the 3rd of November. This division 2 team will push us physically and mentally all game long. If you're in the area feel free to stop by. Also, we've had new executive board elections and congradulations go out to Richard Bittner our new President, Scott Zimmerman - Vice President, Brandon Holderbaum - Match Secretary, Brian Wilkie - Treasurer, and Nolan Kennedy - CIPP / EPRU Rep.

Another weekend gone and another great game. Again however, we fell short of our first victory once again. Dan Schwarz and Josh Stroup combined for 2 of our 5 tries this past weekend. Dan's hard hitting and good passing made him the player of the game. Come out to watch our final match this fall as we battle it out with Bucknell at home starting at 1 pm.

The year continues, on as Susquehanna clashed against Ursinus this past weekend. We played a great game but just came up short 15-12. Scoring two tries and a conversion were seniors Michael Gable, Michael Denning and junior Scott Zimmerman. Freshman Nolan Kennedy was named player of the game for his hard hitting and excellent field leadership. We showed great improvement from past matches and are looking forward to our match against Gettysburg here at SU on the 13th of October. If you're in the area come out and support us. Also, this weekend is homecoming and we're looking forward to see lots of alumni. If you're interested in getting some 7's together please let me know. We'll be having our big alumni game in the spring, more information to come.

After a tough match against Franklin & Marshall we have a couple injuries but our hopes are still high as we get ready to face Ursinus this coming weekend. Our match for Homecoming weekend will have to be played earlier in the week but if there are enough alumni around for the weekend we could definatly get in some 7's. If you are interested please contact Michael Denning,
