Susquehanna University Choir and Chamber Singers to Perform in Area

SELINSGROVE, Pa. - The Susquehanna University Choir and Chamber Singers will perform concerts at Trinity Lutheran Church of Lansdale, Pa., on Feb. 28 at 7:30 p.m. and March 1 at 9:45 and 11 a.m. The church is located at 1000 W. Main St.
The Susquehanna University Choir and Chamber Singers are highly selective performance groups with a repertoire of both sacred and secular pieces. In March 2008, the choir performed Vaughan Williams’ Dona Nobis Pacem at Carnegie Hall in New York City. The choir regularly presents concerts domestically as well as internationally, and its performances have been featured on the Lutheran Series of the Protestant Hour, National Public Radio, the Satellite Radio Network and the worldwide Armed Forces Network. The Susquehanna University Choir is led by Director of Choral Activities Rod Caldwell, D.M.A., and Choir Manager Blake Mosser '10.
The Susquehanna University Choir is proud to include the following area students: Judith Goltz '11, a music education major from Abington; Ashley Flanagan '09, a music education major from Harleysville; Kirk McAuliffe '10, a music major from Norristown; N. Anthony Munoz '10, a music performance major from Philadelphia; Emily Peterson '11, a music education major from Phoenixville; Jamie Roach '12, a music education major from Collegeville; Victoria Scalfaro '11, a music education major from Lansdale.
The concerts are free and open to the public.
