WQSU to Host 11th Annual Bluegrass Festival

SELINSGROVE, (Pa.) — Susquehanna University's radio station, 88.9 WQSU-FM “The PULSE,” will host its 11th Annual Bluegrass Festival April 27. The festival begins at 2 p.m. in Weber Chapel Auditorium. Admission is $10 for individuals 5 years and older. In addition to food and refreshments, staff will be selling raffle tickets for various door prizes.
The festival provides WQSU listeners with the opportunity to enjoy a traditional bluegrass experience. It will feature renowned artists Remington Ryde, The Greenwood Valley Boys and Hickory Ridge Band,
The radio voice of Susquehanna University, WQSU is operated by SU's students, faculty and staff, as well as community volunteers. This educational, nonprofit facility is operated under the supervision of the Department of Communications. The 12,000-watt stereo station can be heard at a 70-mile radius, making it the third most powerful college radio station in Pennsylvania.
