Harry Potter Expert Coming to Susquehanna University
SELINSGROVE— Harry Potter expert Melissa Anelli will discuss “The Magic of Making Your Passion Your Career” on Nov. 23 at 7 p.m. in Susquehanna University’s Weber Chapel Auditorium. The event is free and open to the public.
Anelli, a former reporter for the Staten Island Advance in New York City, is author of “Harry, A History,” the New York Times best-seller about the Potter phenomenon. She serves as webmistress for The-Leaky-Cauldron.org, a Web site for the Harry Potter enthusiast. She is a graduate of Georgetown University and is currently writing her second nonfiction book.
“It will be a great way for students to see someone who has successfully made her passion into a career,” said Taylor Morrow, a freshman accounting major at Susquehanna who helped plan the event. “Melissa Anelli will be inspiring to anyone who wants to do the same.”
