SELINSGROVE – Negotiations between Susquehanna University and the owner of the Pine Meadow apartment complex, to purchase the 100-unit housing facility adjacent to the university, have culminated in a purchase agreement. The agreement is contingent upon a due diligence review period.
Sara Kirkland, executive vice president of administration and planning, and the university's point person on the project, explained, "If Susquehanna is satisfied with the results of the review, the owner, the university and Pine Meadow residents will work together to facilitate a smooth transition that will likely occur in 2012."
The 10.66-acre property borders the university’s new science center and new Student Health Center, which is housed in the Geisinger Clinic at Susquehanna.
