Ursinus was able to score a try narrowing the score to 21-17 with 30 seconds left in the match but Susquehanna was able to secure the kickoff and successfully run out the time for a 21-17 win and advance into the final.

A back-and-forth match with two Susquehanna and one Berks scores translated into a 12-10 halftime lead for Susquehanna. Berks scored early in the second half to take a 17-12 lead. With three minutes left in the match, Susquehanna responded to tie the score at 17-17. In the final minute of the match, pressure defense inside the Berks zone led to junior Jackson Giedgowd scooping up a loose ball and scoring the go-ahead try for a 24-17 lead. After the kickoff, Susquehanna was successful in containing the Berks offense for the last minute of the match and in doing so secured one of the eight spots in the National Championships.
