How early in the morning will work begin?
Answer:
During the academic year, West Village construction will typically begin at 8 a.m., and new science building construction will typically begin at 7 a.m.
Q:
What academic departments will be located in the new science building when it opens?
A:
The biology, chemistry, and earth and environmental sciences departments will relocate from Fisher Hall to the new facility when it opens for the Fall 2010 semester.
Q:
With the closing of the North Hall parking lot, where are nearby handicapped parking spaces?
A:
Alternate handicapped parking spaces are located in the following locations:
1) next to the Admissions House; 2) in front of the Garrett Sports Complex; and 3) between Degenstein Campus Center and Weber Chapel Auditorium.
Q: What about access for the Children’s Center?
A: Drop-offs and pick-ups for the Children’s Center can be made by using the newly constructed parking lot, accessible from University Avenue to the west of the Admissions House.

What are the plans for the old St. Pius X parking lot?
A: At the present time, the lot outside the former St. Pius X Church is for general faculty/staff and student parking.
Q: Is there new parking because of all of West Village?
A:
In addition to the parking lot created during Phase I of the West Village project, the lot to the west of the Sassafras Complex has been expanded to provide additional parking.
Q: With the North Hall parking lot closed, where will North Hall residents unload when moving in?
A: Students will unload from a parking lot to the rear of North Hall, accessible via the new lot (entrance next to the Admissions House). |
