Wagner works directly with faculty to incorporate technology into the classroom and to create instructional media to enhance the learning environment. She also administers the Blackboard and Moodle learning management systems and assists faculty and students in understanding and using these systems.
Wagner has more than a decade of experience in the instructional technology area. At Susquehanna University, her responsibilities have evolved from providing troubleshooting for technology issues to providing guidance on using technology in the classroom. Before joining Susquehanna in 2003, Wagner was an engineering instructional technologist at Bucknell University, working specifically with engineering faculty to incorporate technology and active-learning techniques, such as teamwork and problem-based learning, into the classroom. In her past, she has also helped to design and develop computer-based training programs and to set up and run weeklong workshops.
