Experiential Education Coordinator
Susquehanna University seeks a full-time experiential education coordinator in the Career Development Center. The successful candidate will develop and manage experiential education programs and employer relations services under the supervision of the director of career development.
Candidates will meet with students to help them decide on and prepare for internship opportunities that enhance their academic experiences, network with alumni and employer contacts to cultivate new relationships and internship and employment opportunities, and coordinate with alumni relations staff to identify and publicize internship and job shadowing opportunities arising from alumni connections. The coordinator will also serve as liaison to the Sigmund Weis School of Business, business majors, and to sophomore students and will contribute to the overall success of the Career Development Center and Susquehanna University.
A bachelor’s degree plus one year of related experience is required; however a master’s degree and three years related experience are preferred. Demonstrated proficiency with word processing software required. A demonstrated ability to handle detail, high volume of scheduling and work with little supervision are required.
