Information Systems

The Sigmund Weis School of Business of Susquehanna University seeks candidates for a full-time, tenure-track position to start in fall of 2013. The primary responsibility focuses on the teaching of undergraduate information systems courses to both majors and general business students.  

Candidates should possess an earned doctorate in Information Systems or related discipline; ABDs with a strong potential for research and publication are also encouraged to apply. The department of accounting & information systems offers majors and minors in IS and offers a 10 semester hour foundational requirement for all business students. A history of research, publication, and teaching excellence would be essential for consideration of appointment at a rank above Assistant Professor. The Sigmund Weis School of Business is one of a small number of programs accredited by AACSB-International that focus exclusively on undergraduate education; 25 faculty members serve approximately 600 majors. Susquehanna is a selective, residential, liberal arts institution of approximately 2250 students.  Its 220 acre campus, noted for its beauty, is located in Selinsgrove, PA, 50 miles north of Harrisburg in the scenic Susquehanna River Valley, about a three hour drive from Philadelphia, Washington, D.C., and New York City. AA/EOE.
