Comparative Politics/Political Theory with a specialization in Advanced Industrialized Democracies  

The Department of Political Science at Susquehanna University invites applications for a tenure-track position at the rank of assistant professor in the combined areas of comparative politics/political theory with a specialization in advanced industrialized democracies for the 2013-14 academic year. Successful candidates will be able to teach courses in the advanced democracies, particularly European politics, and an introductory comparative politics course, as well as courses in political theory. Course load is three courses per semester. Additionally, the successful applicant will be expected to oversee senior theses. Ongoing scholarly productivity and institutional service required. Completion of a Ph.D. in political science or related field is required. Teaching experience and a desire to teach in a small liberal arts college setting are preferred.
