Happy Friday Everyone!!

Dr. Klotz's Announcement

There will be 2 to 3 interviews in the next 2 weeks for the faculty position in the clinical and health psychology field.

The 3 candidates are from Allegheny College, Macalester College and Western (or Eastern?) Washington State.

Each candidate will give a talk, open to all, on their research and background at 4:15pm on the day of their interview.

2 interviews are scheduled - 2/6/03 and 2/14/03

Keep an eye out for signs and emails with more information!

Announcements:

- Dr. Klotz is looking for a few volunteers to talk with prospective students for the Open House on Sat. April 5th.

- Making a card to send to Erin Bunger

At Next Week's Meeting (Thursday March 20 at 6:00):

- Photographs will be taken for the yearbook.

- Andy Dunlap will be visiting Psych Club to talk about relaxation techniques.

This Week's Meeting:

I. Review of EPA - Jen, Becky, and Trish shared some of their favorite parts of attending the EPA conference in Baltimore last weekend.

II. Danville Prison Trip - Thursday April 10th

III. Possible trip to Danville State Mental Hospital - additional information to be announced at a later time.

IV. Psych club t-shirts are still available for $10.

V. There will be an Exec meeting on Monday 3/24 at 6:30 to plan activities for April.

VI. Andy Dunlap attended our meeting to show us hypnosis and relaxation techniques. Next Week's Meeting, Thursday 3/27 at 6:

• Psych Club T-shirts are on sale for $10. A T-shirt is on display in the psych lounge if you want to check it out.
• SGA gave us $200 for next year.

• We watched the movie "Girl Interrupted"

• Possible trip to Danville State Mental Hospital- we'll be sending out more information about this soon.

• Water Pistol Taboo and possible food fight!

Announcements:

~ Due to a new law put in place to further protect the confidentiality of the consumers, we will be unable to take a tour of Danville State Mental Hospital.

~ Becky has posted the minutes from past meetings on the psych club website.
