First-Class Mail International
The most common and recommended way to send correspondences internationally. Delivery times vary from 7-14 days depending on the destination. (Top)

Priority Mail International
Delivery takes from three to five days depending on the location. The weight limit per package is four pounds. This service is not available to all foreign countries. (Top)

Express Mail International
This is the fastest way to send mail outside the United States. Delivery takes two to four days depending on the location. This service is not available to all foreign countries. Tracking is available. (Top)

Addressing International Mail
All International Addresses should be:
In all uppercase letters
No more than five lines, if possible
Written in English The last line should list the country only
Do not address mail to “box holder” or “in care of” (Top)

Customs Forms
All foreign mail weighing one pound and over requires a customs form. This includes all military PO boxes. A detailed description of the contents and their value must be noted on the form.

  • PS Form 2976 (green form) must accompany mail weighing one pound up to 4 lbs.
  • PS Form 2976-A (white form) must accompany mail weighing over four lbs. (Top)
