Professor Fred Grosse holds a Ph.D. from Lehigh University. His research interests include fluid mechanics and the department’s studies of the atmosphere of the moon. He coordinates the University’s 3-2 engineering programs with Penn State University. He also supervises certification for high school physics teachers.
Professor Richard Kozlowski, department head, is a Susquehanna graduate with a Ph.D. from the University of Maine. His research interests include liquid crystals and the optical and infrared studies of the atmospheres and surfaces of the moon, Mercury and asteroids. He advises the Astronomy Club and the Society of Physics Students.
Assistant Professor Samya Bano Zain received her Ph.D. in experimental high energy physics from SUNY Albany.
