The Political Science Department offers speakers on a wide range
of subjects. Most recently, the department has sponsored the following
events:
Dr. Glenn Palmer, Associate Professor of Political
Science at Penn State University, presented a talk entitled American
Foreign Policy under the Neo-cons: An Historical approach
during the Spring 2007 semester.
Dr. Mehdi Noorbaksh, Associate Professor of
International Affairs at Harrisburg University of Science and
Technology, presented a talk entitled U.S. Foreign Policy
in the Middle East: Problems and Challenges during the
Fall 2006 semester.

The Middle East and Afghanistan from the military's perspective
The war in Iraq
Additionally, Politics Club
and Pi Sigma Alpha, the Political
Science honors society, hosted a student meeting with U.S.
Senator Rick Santorum, which was televised on the Pennsylvania
Cable Network. |
