Health Care Studies Minor
The minor in Health Care Studies is designed for students with a strong interest in the many health care-related fields. Students learn basic biological and medical principles related to human health and disease, as well as gaining an understanding of the ethical, social and business issues associated with working in the health care system. The minor is well suited for traditional pre-med and pre-health professional students, as well as those interested in other health care fields, such as careers in allied health, public health, clinical psychology, and counseling.

The minor requires 24 semester hours.

Plus one two-semester-hour course
HLCR-080 The Business of Health Care.
