Internal Funding
Internal grants are available through a variety of offices on
campus. Grants are designed to promote faculty professional development,
curriculum support, information technology, and research. Any
professor seeking funding should first consult with his or her
department chair. Sources for funding include:
Department Chairs: Your department chair should be the
first person you speak with to ask about funding sources. In addition
to advising on where funding for various needs can be found, your
chairperson may be able to supplement funds from other sources
as necessary.

on a competitive basis and are intended to stimulate, encourage
and support faculty research and development. Grant amounts range

and conferences; for research; for acquiring equipment; and for
software purchases. For more information, contact Matt Rousu
