Networking: The Lifeline of Public Relations

There are many ways to network:

  • A friend
  • A family member
  • A faculty member or professor
  • A speaker
  • Club or Organization (ie: a fraternity brother or sorority sister)
  • An internship

Internships are invaluable learning experiences for college students -- and almost a necessity for any college graduate. Employers are demanding that college grads have "real world" experience, and internships are one of the best ways for college students to get that experience.

So how do you find your ideal internship?

1. Fill out this internship survey and hand in completed form.

2. Compile a reputable list of internship sources. For a list of possible sources, check out the Susquehanna University Career Center Internship website.

3. Search thoses sources to match your criteria on the internship survey.

4. Call and set up appointments for an interview.
