Department head, Dr. Klotz received her Ph.D. from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She teaches Principles of Psychology, Social Psychology, Psychology of Personality, Industrial/Organizational Psychology, Gender Stereotypes, and Directed Research. Dr. Klotz's current research addresses interpersonal communication, particularly complaining, and social cognition.

Dr. Klotz is also the faculty advisor for the Psychology Club and for Psi Chi , the National Honor Society in Psychology.
