     The Susquehanna Recreational Sports program is in affiliation with the National Intramural-Recreational Sports Association and garnered its affiliation in September, 2001. The NIRSA provides opportunities for student leadership and provides rules and policies regarding recreational sports.  For more information, go to the NIRSA Web site at

Overview
      Recreational Sports is the place to be for healthy, active lifestyles. Offering a variety of intramural events and fitness classes, the Recreational Sports office has something for everyone. Whether you are looking for a structured sports environment or you want to work out and play on your own, there is something for everyone.

      Recreational Sports has some of the best facilities nationwide to enhance your stay at Susquehanna. With the new James A. Garrett Sports Complex, Jacobs Fitness Center, and Nicholas A. Lopardo Stadium, students and staff can find a host of activities to maintain a healthy, active lifestyle.

      There are a variety of events students and staff can participate in within Recreational Sports. From racquetball to table tennis to basketball and volleyball, Recreational Sports offers students and staff a fun environment to help ease away the stresses. Stop by the lobby in the Garrett Sports Complex to check out equipment and start your way to a healthy, active lifestyle.
