Welcome to the sciences at Susquehanna University! Our goal in these web pages is to have you experience the many opportunities that studying science in our academic community can present. Whether you are interested in biology, biochemistry, chemistry, ecology, earth & environmental sciences or physics, you will find that all of our science programs are research rich and intensively collaborative. Since members of our faculty believe that you learn science by doing science, student/faculty research is a hallmark of all of our science programs.
We offer opportunities on our campus in the laboratories of Fisher Hall using the latest scientific equipment. Other opportunities are offered off campus in places as far away as Australia, Russia and the Caribbean. Some, like our Summer Science Partners Program, occur outside the academic year.
So take some time and learn more about science at Susquehanna University. We are sure you will find something that sparks your interest as you look through these materials.
Of course, these web pages can only show you a small fraction of the science experience at Susquehanna University. We extend an invitation for you to visit our campus and to see and hear firsthand about the exciting opportunities in science at SU.
