Do You Have What It Takes?

We are more than an organization, we are a movement of sisters looking to enhance the quality of life within our society; therefore we ask:

CAN YOU
promise to give your all to the well being and leadership of
your organization and stay true to that promise?

CAN YOU
work day and night on a project and stay up on your
homework at the same time?

CAN YOU
dedicate yourself in a way that all projects are a must?

CAN YOU
give of your time in a way that you feel exhausted and
fulfilled at the same time?

Our aspirations and standards are high; therefore we ask:

CAN YOU
love so deeply that you would change old habits so that
your organization would not look bad?

CAN YOU
truly love your organization to the point that you would not
do ANYTHING to hurt the chapter?

CAN YOU
live with such control that you would actually stop and think,
"No, I won't do (insert some negative action) because it would
reflect negatively on the whole organization"?

We are shining beacons of light, standing for what is right; therefore we ask:

CAN YOU
live of your own free will and mind to stand up to the
wrongly accepted norms-i.e. hazing, and other actions that may
endanger the chapter?

Please understand that it takes a special kind of woman to be callled a woman of
SIGMA GAMMA RHO SORORITY, INC
The kind of woman that we call "soror" understands that Sigma Gamma Rho is not a place
for "letter wearers" who choose to pay the intake fee and sit down on their responsibilities.
We do not stand for any public activities that will demean us as individuals or as a sorority
Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc. is an organization built
on education, community service, and love for your soror.
