The Merck Company Foundation Support

The Merck Company Foundation has generously pledged support for the Science in Motion program at Susquehanna University in the form of a $76,000 grant. A portion of these funds has already been used to purchase three infrared Spectrophotometers (FTIRs). These instruments are very useful for Chemistry experiments, especially Organic Chemistry and Chemistry Crime Scene. We expect ample use of these instruments by the teachers we serve. The remaining funds are earmarked for a thermocycler, digital camcorders and Math/Physics equipment. The acquisition of these high priority items will allow SIM to better meet the needs of the teachers we serve.

We extend our thanks to the Merck Company Foundation for supporting the SIM Program!
