SELINSGROVE, Pa. -- Susquehanna University football fans will once again be able to follow the Crusaders this season with live play-by-play broadcasts on WQSU-FM (88.9), Susquehanna's 12,000-watt student radio station.

WQSU will broadcast the entire 10-game Susquehanna football schedule, both home and away, beginning with the season opener on Saturday, September 8 at Western Maryland. Coverage will begin each week 30 minutes before kickoff with The Coach's Corner, which features a 20-minute review and preview of each Crusader game with Susquehanna head football coach Steve Briggs. Live coverage from the game site will begin immediately following The Coach's Corner.

Veteran area sports broadcaster/journalist and longtime Crusader play-by-play man Jack Burns of Mifflinburg will call the action with former Susquehanna sports information director Mike Ferlazzo of Selinsgrove providing color commentary. The duo is familiar to local football fans as the voices of Selinsgrove High School football on Friday nights throughout the fall on WYGL-AM (1240).
