SELINSGROVE, Pa. – The longtime rivalry between Susquehanna University and Lycoming College will add another wrinkle on Tuesday afternoon when the schools will meet in men’s soccer action in the first “Battle of the Boot.”

Kickoff in Williamsport is scheduled for 4:30 p.m.

The trophy, which is a bronzed and mounted soccer shoe, will be competed for on an annual basis in the non-conference showdown.

Since the teams first met in 1960, Susquehanna holds a 20-12-1 advantage in the all-time series. The Crusaders have won in overtime each of the last two years, including a 3-2 triumph in Selinsgrove last September 13.
