SELINSGROVE, PA – Susquehanna University junior split end Mark Bartosic was named to the Middle Atlantic Conference Football Weekly Honor Roll, the conference announced Sunday.

Bartosic (Northumberland, PA/Shikellamy H.S.) set season highs with nine catches, 155 yards and two touchdowns as the Crusaders defeated Albright 40-35 on Saturday afternoon. Bartosic hauled in a 23-yard scoring catch in the second quarter, then after Albright trimmed a 34-7 deficit to 34-28 in the fourth quarter, he converted a short pass on third-and-10 into a 73-yard touchdown that gave Susquehanna a 40-28 lead with 5:31 to play.

Bartosic, who extended his streak of consecutive games with a catch to 24, surpassed the 100-yard mark for the 16th time in his career. He has caught at least one touchdown pass in 20 of 24 games at Susquehanna and a total of 32 in his career.

Through four games this season, Bartosic leads the team and ranks fifth in the MAC with 22 catches for 349 yards and four touchdowns for the Crusaders (2-2 overall, 2-1 MAC).

Susquehanna will travel to sixth-ranked Widener (4-0 overall, 4-0 MAC) on Saturday at 1 p.m.
