Bartosic, Nash Among NCAA Stat Leaders

SELINSGROVE, PA – Susquehanna University senior Antonio Nash and junior Mark Bartosic are listed among the latest NCAA Division III football statistical leaders, through games of October 12.

Nash (Washington, DC/Springbrook, MD H.S.) ranks eighth in kickoff returns with a Middle Atlantic Conference-best average of 31.4 yards per return, while Bartosic (Northumberland, PA/Shikellamy H.S.) is among the leaders in receptions per game, receiving yards per game and points per game.

Bartosic is averaging 122.0 receiving yards per game to rank 10th in Division III, while his average of 10.8 points per game places him 20th and his 7.4 catches per game rank 21st.

For his career, Nash ranks fourth in program history with an average of 23.2 yards on 42 kickoff returns. He also ranks among the Susquehanna career leaders in both punt return and interception return yardage, ranking fourth with 572 punt return yards and third with 255 yards on 20 interceptions.

Bartosic leads the MAC with 37 catches for 610 yards and nine touchdowns, and is Susquehanna’s career leader with 160 receptions for 2,828 yards and 37 scores. Against Widener last Saturday, Bartosic set school single-game records with 15 receptions for 261 yards and a MAC record-tying five touchdowns in the Crusaders’ 52-35 loss to the fifth-ranked Pioneers.

The Crusaders (2-3 overall, 2-2 MAC) host FDU-Florham on Saturday at 7 p.m.
