SELINSGROVE, PA – Four Susquehanna University players are included among the national leaders in this week’s NCAA Division III football statistics, through games of October 18.

Senior split end Mark Bartosic (Northumberland, PA/Shikellamy H.S.) leads Division III in receiving yards per game with 147.2, is fifth in catches per game with 8.2, ranks eighth in all-purpose yards per game with 198.5, and is 37th in scoring per game with an average of 9.0 points.

Other Crusaders among the Division III leaders are senior quarterback Craig Ulrich (Milton, PA/Milton H.S.), who is 27th in total offense with an average of 244.0 yards per game, sophomore free safety Ben Gibboney (Huntingdon, PA/Huntingdon Area H.S.) is tied 25th in interceptions per game with four in six games (0.7 average), and senior defensive end Adam Summers (Abbottstown, PA/Mercersburg Academy) is tied for 39th in sacks per game with 5 ½ in six games for a 0.9 average.

As a team, the Crusaders rank 17th in passing offense at 273.3 yards per game and 21st in total offense with an average of 431.2 yards per contest.

Susquehanna (3-3 overall, 3-2 Middle Atlantic Conference) will host King’s (5-2 overall, 4-2 MAC) on Saturday at 1:30 p.m. at Lopardo Stadium.
