SELINSGROVE, PA – Susquehanna University junior midfielder Jess Paulshock has been honored as the Commonwealth Conference Player of the Week in women’s soccer after leading the Crusaders to a pair of victories last week. Paulshock (Pottsville, PA/Pottsville H.S.) netted her second hat trick in three games and added an assist as the Crusaders set a program record for scoring in an 8-0 win over Lycoming on Wednesday, then fired home the match’s lone goal in double overtime in a 1-0 victory over Franklin & Marshall on Saturday afternoon. Paulshock, whose other hat trick came in a season-opening 6-1 win over Notre Dame (Md.) on September 6, has climbed into fourth place on Susquehanna’s career scoring list with 40 points on 15 goals and 10 assists. She leads the Commonwealth Conference with seven goals and 15 points in five games for the Crusaders (3-1), who host Dickinson on Wednesday at 4:30 p.m.
