SELINSGROVE, PA – Susquehanna University senior offensive lineman Dan Decker and senior defensive lineman Damian Buggy have been named second-team All-Middle Atlantic Conference, as voted upon by the league's 11 head coaches and released Wednesday.
Decker (Exton, PA/Bishop Shanahan), in his first season starting at left guard after three years as a starter at left tackle, helped the Crusaders finish second in the MAC in fewest sacks allowed with 17 in 10 games. He also contributed to a Crusader ground game that ranked fourth in the MAC in rushing offense at 142.8 yards per game.
Buggy (Kulpmont, PA/Mount Carmel), a two-year starter at defensive end, led all Crusader linemen and finished fourth on the team overall with 40 tackles (24 solo), including four sacks to tie for the team lead and nine tackles for loss. He also intercepted two passes and tied for fourth in the MAC with three forced fumbles.
