Kadingo, Catagnus named All-Conference in Volleyball
SELINSGROVE , PA – Susquehanna University senior Missy Kadingo and sophomore Ainsley Catagnus have been named second-team All-Commonwealth Conference in volleyball for the second consecutive season as voted upon by the league's eight head coaches and released Wednesday.
The duo helped the Crusaders finish with a 18-21 overall record and 3-4 in the Commonwealth Conference under fourth-year head coach John Tom.
Kadingo (Orwigsburg, PA/Nativity BVM) played in all 39 matches and led the Crusaders with 802 assists and 65 service aces while ranking second on the squad with 262 kills, third in blocks with 88 and fourth in digs with 263.
For her career, Kadingo is the all-time program leader in service aces with 262, and ranks second in kills with 1,162, sixth in assists with 1,174 and third in blocks with 275.
Catagnus (Reading, PA/Reading Central Catholic) appeared in all 39 matches and finished second in the Commonwealth Conference with a school-record 583 kills and ranked sixth in hitting percentage at .295, while also leading the team in blocks with 128 and finishing second on the team in service aces with 59.
Through two seasons, Catagnus ranks fourth in program history with 1,022 kills and seventh in total blocks with 205.
