Kadingo Named Commonwealth Volleyball Player of the Week
SELINSGROVE , PA – Susquehanna University senior middle hitter Missy Kadingo has been named the Commonwealth Conference volleyball Player of the Week, the conference office announced Monday.
Kadingo (Orwigsburg, PA/Nativity BVM) averaged 4.36 kills and 1.36 blocks per game and hit .466 to lead the Crusaders to four consecutive wins last week. She posted 22 kills, including the 1,000 th of her career, in a 3-1 win over Albright, then racked up 39 kills and 15 digs in 10 games as the Crusaders won all three matches at the Lycoming Quad Meet on Saturday.
For the week, Kadingo had 61 kills against just seven errors in 116 attacks, and for the season she is second on the team in kills (146) and blocks (27) while ranking third in service aces (16).
The Crusaders (6-7 overall, 1-0 Commonwealth Conference) host top-ranked Juniata on Wednesday at 7:00 p.m. in the home opener at O.W. Houts Gymnasium.
