Change at the TopCatlin Named Head Women's Lacrosse Coach Following Lucido's Resignation
SELINSGROVE, Pa. - Susquehanna University has promoted assistant women's lacrosse coach Sarah Catlin to head coach following the resignation of fourth-year head coach Gina Lucido due to personal reasons. Susquehanna is 1-1 this season and will be in action on Thursday afternoon at Goucher beginning at 4:00 p.m. Catlin began her second stint as assistant women's lacrosse coach this spring after previously serving as an assistant to Lucido during the 1998 and 1999 seasons. Most recently, she was an assistant field hockey coach at Miami (Ohio) University during the 1999 and 2000 seasons. A native of Montpelier, Vt., Catlin is a 1998 graduate of Bucknell University where she was a four-year letterwinner and senior captain of the field hockey team. As a senior, Catlin was a second-team Patriot League All-Star and was selected to play in the 1998 NFHCA Division I North/South Senior All-Star game. After graduating from Bucknell with a bachelor's degree in English and political science, Catlin was an assistant field hockey coach at Columbia during the fall of 1998. In addition to her lacrosse duties, she is currently involved in the United States Field Hockey Futures Program in Harrisburg. Catlin resides in Lewisburg.
