Nadler Named First MAC Men's Lacrosse All-Star
SELINSGROVE, Pa. – Junior midfielder Andy Nadler has become the first Susquehanna University men’s lacrosse player to earn Middle Atlantic Conference All-Star honors, the conference announced Thursday. Nadler (Westport, CT/Staples H.S.) was selected by the league’s 10 head coaches as a MAC second-team All-Star after helping the Crusaders (5-9 overall, 1-8 Middle Atlantic Conference) to the best season in the program’s three-year history under second-year head coach Ron Miller (Mount Carmel H.S.). Nadler scored 27 goals and added seven assists for 34 points as the Crusaders nearly doubled their win total from the program’s first two seasons, when they earned just three victories in 25 games. The program’s career leader with 64 goals, 32 assists and 96 points in 38 games, Nadler led the Crusaders and matched his own single-season record with 102 ground balls this season. He tallied at least one goal in 13 of the Crusaders’ 14 games this season and has scored at least one point in 25 straight games since April 15, 2000.
