SELINSGROVE, Pa. – Susquehanna University junior Kat Geiger has been named the Middle Atlantic Conference Women’s Lacrosse Player of the Week and was selected to the Warrior/Inside Lacrosse Division III Honor Roll after scoring eight goals and two assists in two postseason games last week.

Geiger (New Hope, PA/Hun School) capped a three-goal, one-assist performance with an overtime goal in the Crusaders’ 11-10 win at Drew in the MAC championship game on Saturday to give Susquehanna its first conference title and first-ever berth in the Division III playoffs.

In a 14-4 win over Widener in semifinal action, Geiger scored a team-high five goals and added an assist to help the Crusaders advance to the title game.

Geiger has scored 28 goals and nine assists for 37 points in 16 games for the Crusaders (12-4), who will play 11-time national champion College of New Jersey (14-0) in regional action at Gettysburg College on Saturday at 11:30 a.m.
