The Next GenerationSusquehanna University Announces 2001 Freshman Football Recruits
SELINSGROVE, Pa. - Susquehanna University head football coach Steve Briggs has announced that the following 34 freshman recruits will be in attendance when the Crusaders open camp on Sunday, August 20:
The Crusaders posted their 15th consecutive non-losing season in 2000, finishing the year with a 7-3 record (6-3 Middle Atlantic Conference). Briggs, the winningest coach in school history with a 75-37 record, will begin his 12th season on Saturday, September 8 when the Crusaders travel to Western Maryland for a 1 p.m. non-league game. Susquehanna is a selective, private residential university enrolling 1,682 full-time undergraduates in the School of Arts, Humanities and Communications, the School of Natural and Social Sciences, and the Sigmund Weis School of Business. Located in the central Pennsylvania town of Selinsgrove, it is known for the strength of its liberal arts programs and career preparation.
