SELINSGROVE, Pa. – Susquehanna University men’s and women’s basketball teams are represented in the latest NCAA Division III statistics, through games of February 9.

On the men’s side, junior guard Chris Zimmerman (Coal Township, PA/Shamokin Area H.S.) is ranked 11th in assists per game with 6.1 per contest while freshman center Walter Fowler (Dingmans Ferry, PA/Delaware Valley H.S.) is 15th in blocked shots per game with an average of 2.6 per game.

The Crusader women are ninth in the country in field goal percentage defense (.324) and 25th in scoring defense (52.7 points per game).

Susquehanna’s women (12-7 overall, 5-6 Commonwealth) and men (14-7 overall, 8-3 Commonwealth) will be in doubleheader action at Messiah on Saturday evening. The women’s game begins at 6:00 while the men tip off at 8 p.m.
