Lepley Places 7th in 55 Hurdles at NCAA Indoor Track Championships
SELINSGROVE, PA - Susquehanna University junior Emily Lepley finished seventh in the 55-meter hurdles at the 2006 NCAA Division III Women's Indoor Track and Field Championships at St. Olaf College in Northfield, Minnesota on Saturday.
Lepley (Lewistown, PA/Lewistown) was clocked at 8.37 seconds in the finals to finish behind Carthage senior Sheana Grigsby, who ran a Division III season-best time of 8.05 seconds to capture the gold medal.
With her seventh-place finish, Lepley is now a three-time All-American in the hurdles at Susquehanna after finishing 6th in the 100 meters at the 2004 outdoor championships and winning the 400 meters at the 2005 outdoor championships.
